BIOGRAPHICAL DATA Glenn R. Smith is an electrical engineer, is admitted to practice law in California (CA Bar No. 162723 -- see State Bar of California Member Records Online) and is a licensed patent attorney (Registration No. 38,308 -- see US Patent & Trademark Office Agent and Patent Attorney Roster). He received a B.S.E.E. from Colorado State University, graduating first in his class; an M.S.E.E. from the University of California, Irvine in 1979; an M.B.A. from California State University, Fullerton in 1985 and a J.D. from U.C.L.A in 1992. He worked for many years as an electronics engineer for such companies as Rockwell, Lockheed, Northrop and Interstate Electronics, designing digital circuits, software and algorithms for signal processing applications. He also is an experienced, advanced-class amateur radio (ham) operator - WB6RBC. As an attorney, Glenn was an associate at Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear and, later, in-house patent counsel for Masimo Corporation before starting a solo intellectual property law practice.
